What is aerial yoga?

Aerial yoga combines traditional yoga poses with the incorporation of an aerial hammock. The assist with the hammock allows you to go deeper into poses while also providing unique pose adaptations and assists. The hammock can hold up to 2,000lbs and with aerial yoga being a zero-impact workout, this class really is accessible to all ability levels! In this class you'll learn the fundamentals to safely practice aerial yoga which includes inversions, flips, wraps and deep stretching. Some of the benefits of practicing aerial yoga include increased flexibility, strength and stamina along with improved circulation and balance. Aerial yoga is great for decompression of the spine. At the end of class you'll enjoy savasana in the air which will calm both the body and mind. You'll leave class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!
